  1. DX is used in these macros to produce a sorted list of files in the
  2. current directory. File selection is made by moving the cursor to the
  3. desired file and pressing Enter.

  5. File sorting is done using DX Directory Extended, v2.11. If the newer
  6. version 2.60 is used and it is NOT registered, the DX heading will
  7. show in the file selection window of @1 to @4 and the initial cursor
  8. line will not be positioned on the first file in the selection list.
  9. The file selection can be still be made by moving the cursor line to
  10. the desired file and pressing <enter>. Alternatively, you can either
  11. register DX or change the macros. I suggest registration. DX is the
  12. most powerful DOS file and directory manager available.

  14. DX211.ZIP Directory Extended is included in AMAC-PRG.ZIP, the program
  15. files required to execute many of the QEdit macros in AMACxx.ZIP.
  16. Although VERSION 2.11 is not the most recent version, it is the only
  17. version compatible with macros in AMACxx.ZIP. The latest DX version
  18. 2.60 is compatible──ONLY──if it is registered.

  20. DX Directory Extended is the most powerful DOS file and directory
  21. manager available, and is available on many BBS's. It can be found on
  22. CompuServe in IBMYSY and on Exec-PC in the file DX-260.ZIP and
  23. documentation in DX-D20.ZIP. DX is an excellent and very powerful
  24. file and disk utility. I strongly urge you to support and register
  25. DX. You will──NOT──regret it!
